Introducing Sherri E. Hill, Student Academic Specialist with the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction – Education Services, who takes on key roles in Adult Basic Education, High School Equivalency programs, vocational programs, and post-secondary degree programs statewide. With a B.A. from Fordham University and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University, she brings over 20 years of experience from Wall Street, including positions at Lehman Brothers, American Express, and Bear Stearns. Following events like 9/11, she transitioned to education, discovering her passion while substitute teaching. Transitioning to full-time teaching, she honed her skills in math education for urban students. Sherri holds a Master of Education in School Administration from Grand Canyon University and is eager to contribute to educational programming statewide, leveraging her diverse background to enrich our services.
