2025 NCPEC Conference Success!

The recent NCPEC conference in Chapel Hill was a resounding success, thanks to the participation of nearly 45 attendees. We are incredibly grateful for the valuable information and significant learning experiences shared. Our deepest appreciation to the dedicated board members whose hard work made this conference possible, and to the exceptional presenters who offered insightful information and important recent developments.

NCDAC 24/25 Education Challenge
The NC Department of Adult Correction is delighted to announce the 2024–2025 Education Challenge recipients. The competition this year highlighted innovation, collaboration, and a collective dedication to educational excellence among all participants. This year's winners, determined by percentage, are:

• Albemarle CI and Stanly Community College; 1194% of goal achieved

• Pamlico CI and Pamlico Community College; 650% of goal achieved

• Marion CI and McDowell Community College; 575% of goal achieved

• Highest Number of Completions Statewide; NCCIW, Wake Tech Community College, and Judson College: 604 educational completions

• Nash CI, Nash Community College, and Judson College; 585 education completions
