Jay Lively is the Pathways to Freedom (PTF) Coordinator at Asheville-Buncombe Community Technical College (A-B Tech) and serves as Treasurer for the North Carolina Prison Education Consortium. As the PTF Coordinator, Lively supports all programming in the two correctional facilities in the college’s service area where A-B Tech provides high school equivalency classes, more than ten continuing education courses, a diploma in electrical services technology and an associate of applied science in human services technology. Before joining A-B Tech, Lively was an academic advisor, career counselor and staff advisor to the student newspaper at Warren Wilson College.
